Clothing Print/Press Operative (Backshift)
Proactive Recruitment are currently looking for a Print/Press Operative to join our client located in Coatbridge . This position will be on a temporary on going basis, with the view to becoming permanent for the right candidates. We have immediate starts.
Our client specializes in workwear embroidery/printing. Experience in this sector is desired however not essential as training will be provided.
Duties Include;
- Operate and maintain DTF printing equipment, including printers and powder shakers.
- Prepare and process print files and artwork for production.
- Load, print and cure DTF transfers according to production requirements.
- Identify and report printing defects, equipment issues and material wastage.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printing equipment.
- Monitor stock levels, transfer film, inks, powders and other production materials.
- Pressing the designs onto the garments.
- Assist with packing, labelling and dispatching completed orders when required.
