Proactive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established leading supplier of multifunction devices and telecom solutions. Our client has a turnover of £3 million; they are a trusted partner for businesses seeking high-quality technology solutions to enhance their operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding financial strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations, and providing insightful analysis to inform our business decisions. This role is crucial for our continued expansion and success, as we aim to leverage our strong market position to achieve new heights.
Hours: Mon-Fri | 8:30am – 5:30pm – 45 minutes lunch break & 2 15-minute breaks
Salary: £40,000 per annum DOE.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all processes
- Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to support business growth
- Manage payroll for a staff of around 30
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Own and optimise financial systems, particularly Xero, ensuring best practice usage
- Manage and improve payment collection processes
