We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder on behalf of our client based in Stafford. 39 hours per week. £16 - £18 per hour. Overtime available and paid at time and half. These roles are temporary to permanent for the right candidate, with immediate starts available.
Responsibilities
- Execute Mig welding on diverse materials including sheet metal and fabricated components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
- Operate fabrication machinery and assist with the assembly of metal structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assist in the maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
