My client who works within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.
Key Details:
- Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 17:00, Friday 07:30 – 12:30.
- Permanent contract.
- 33 days holiday.
- Company tool allowance scheme.
- Salary ranging from £28,000 - £42,000.
Duties and Experience:
- Working in a systems-assembly department, assembling and building automated machinery and equipment to detailed engineering drawings.
- Carrying out testing, fault finding and diagnostics inspections of the build to ensure everything meets high standards.
- Extensive use of a range of power and hand tools to assemble the parts.
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- The role will involve travel to customer sites both in the UK and overseas, therefore a valid passport and the ability to travel is a requirement for the role.
- Must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with experience of completing mechanical inspections.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or similar.
- Solid knowledge of engineering processes and extensive use of hand and power tools.
