Due to our client's continued growth and expansion, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced full time Construction Manager to join their team in Tankersley. This is an exciting time and a great opportunity to be joining the company. CANDIDATES MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING AWAY!
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-contract meetings to understand client expectations, project scope, and deliverables.
- Oversee live construction sites throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure the successful delivery and handover of projects, meeting client specifications, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Supervise site management staff, subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues.
- Maintain and promote positive client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for project updates, concerns, and mediation between trades and subcontractors.
- Produce regular progress reports for management, including written summaries, photographic updates, and attendance at scheduled project meetings.
- Assist in creating and issuing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring safe work practices are implemented and followed.
- Serve as the communication link between the site and the office, ensuring information flows effectively and promptly.
- Comply with all Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
