Key Duties- Match delivery notes and check pricing against transport management system records
- Input purchase invoices onto Xero
- Resolve purchase ledger queries with suppliers and internal teams
- Process staff expenses and credit card receipts
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Prepare supplier payment runs
- Maintain approved supplier lists
- Post bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Collate payroll information (hours, expenses, etc.)
- Handle incoming financial queries from customers, suppliers, and internal staff
- Maintain organised digital and paper filing systems
- Provide general administrative support as required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
- Strong IT skills, including Outlook and Excel
- Experience with Xero is desirable (training can be provided)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks independently
- £14.10 – £14.62 per hour (Equivalent to £27,500 – £28,500 FTE)
- 5.6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays, pro rata)
