Key Duties
  • Match delivery notes and check pricing against transport management system records
  • Input purchase invoices onto Xero
  • Resolve purchase ledger queries with suppliers and internal teams
  • Process staff expenses and credit card receipts
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare supplier payment runs
  • Maintain approved supplier lists
  • Post bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts
  • Collate payroll information (hours, expenses, etc.)
  • Handle incoming financial queries from customers, suppliers, and internal staff
  • Maintain organised digital and paper filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support as required
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
  • Strong IT skills, including Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with Xero is desirable (training can be provided)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks independently

  • £14.10 – £14.62 per hour (Equivalent to £27,500 – £28,500 FTE)
