Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton are looking for an Electrical Engineer on a temp to perm basis for our client in Willenhall, Wolverhampton.

Length of Assignment: 12 week temp to perm role leading onto a permanent position.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Duties:

  • An exciting opportunity for an electrical engineer with proven diagnostic skills, able to fault find to component level.
  • The ability to rework PCBs with both through hole and surface mount components using hot air rework tools and soldering irons.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to read schematic drawings.
  • Experience using multi-meters, the use of test software and other test equipment.
  • Programming and testing of PCBs are preferable requirements.
  • You will be a key member of the Quality team, taking direction from the quality manager, overseeing all quality metrics and continuous improvement projects.
  • Dealing with customer non-conformances, internal audits, and other quality related activities.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 is also required.
