Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Pipe Welder's mate to work at various sites throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting pipefitters & welders with the preparation and setup of pipe fabrications.
- Handling and positioning steel pipework for welding.
- Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces / weld end preparations.
- Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
- Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
- Previous experience as a Welder's Mate or similar role.
- Must have experience using Burning Equipment.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
- CSCS card.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. An immediate start is available.
