Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our client based in the Wolverhampton area. This is a precision engineering business who work in the aerospace and energy sectors, so experience in a similar industry is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support from initial design and modelling through planning and programming product for the shop floor.
- Ensure components are delivered on time and on budget by creating efficient solutions.
- CNC offline programming for milling and turning.
- Supporting production with daily problem solving.
- Continuous improvement.
- Ensuring quality and associated records are maintained.
- Planning and designing manufacturing process from start to finish.
- Accurate stage drawings, SOP’s and similar.
- Support quotation processes.
- Support with NPI projects.
- Assist and direct projects including CAD/CAM programs to ensure first time quality and production readiness.
Compensation
This is a permanent role and you can expect to earn between £50,000 - £60,000. To earn the higher end of this salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job role.
Hours
39 hours per week. 08:00 – 17:00, early Friday finish.
