Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Fitters for our client based in Stafford Park, Telford. We are able to consider candidates with various skill levels for these roles from 'entry level' through to more senior levels of experience.
Requirements
- Have experience with various hand and power tools
- Be comfortable working from engineering drawings
- Work well in a team
- Be able to measure and cut various materials to size
- Use your own initiative
- Have experience in a manufacturing / production environment
What we offer
- You will be working in a clean, well lit production environment where you are supported in your career development with on the job training coupled with external FLT, scissor lift and other various external courses.
- You will be working a 40 hour week with an early finish on Friday. Mon to Thurs: 07:45 to 17:00; Fri: 07:45 to 12:45.
- Salary: between £29,000 - £35,000 per annum (to achieve the higher salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role with proven levels of success).
- There is also significant overtime available (paid at premium) where your earnings can significantly increase.
- As part of this role, you will be given the opportunity to complete site installs where travel, accommodation and expenses are provided. This could be travel worldwide.
