Proactive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Telford. In this role as Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team within a semi-automated Distribution Centre environment, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient warehouse operations. The role drives operational excellence through continuous improvement, effective use of automation/technology, and delivery of DMUK strategic goals across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Hours: Rotating Days | 7:00am - 3:00pm / 3:00pm - 11:00pm.
Salary: £40,759.37 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and embed a Quality First philosophy to achieve Right First Time (RFT).
- Ensure goods receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch processes maintain high accuracy and care.
- Challenge non-conformance and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain stock integrity and ensure traceability.
- Ensure audits (e.g. standardised work, DKM) are conducted and adhered to.
- Support internal and external quality audits (IATF/ISO).
