Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter who enjoys building and assembling manufactured systems and being part of a team that is going from strength to strength? Do you want to significantly boost your earnings whilst travelling? If so, this could be the role for you!
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team, working in our systems-assembly department.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assembling and building automated machinery and equipment to detailed engineering drawings
- Extensive use of a range of power and hand tools to assemble the parts
- Carrying out testing, fault finding and diagnostics inspections of the build to ensure everything meets our high standards
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team
The role will involve travel to customer sites both in the UK and overseas, therefore a valid passport and the ability to travel is an essential requirement of the role.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or similar
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with experience of completing mechanical inspections
- Solid knowledge of engineering processes and extensive use of hand and power tools.
