Production Team Leader Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Production Team Leader on behalf of our client based in Telford.

This includes supporting shift management in achieving G&Os, and the day-to-day operation of specific sections, machines or stages to achieve business objectives.

Salary: £32,985.00 - £35,436.00 per annum DOEDuties include but are not limited to: Responsible for supervising, training, and supporting associates within their section.

Leadership style stemming from a lead-by example approach regarding matters of Health and Safety, operational procedures and company policies.

This includes motivating associates, addressing performance issues, and interpersonal conflicts to aid team cohesion.

Assist associates to achieve their cycle time in relation to production targets and any changes to the schedule are communicated effectively throughout the shift.

Support new associates and ensure adequate job training is provided.

Ensure team briefings happen every shift covering all issues including Health & Safety, Environment, Quality, 5s/TPM, absence and targets.

To understand and communicate the Quality First philosophy, ensuring quality standards are achieved in terms of Right First Time (RFT).

Ensure your team understand production schedule expectations.

Effectively deploy the team to achieve schedule and production targets daily.

Ensure production monitoring boards (e. g. hourly boards/output control boards) are kept up to date throughout the shift.

Experience of manufacturing and responsiveness to customer needs.

Basic understanding of relevant company policies and procedures.

An accredited Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.

Computer literate.

Experience of Lean Management Techniques/Kaizen.
