Proactive Personnel require a Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client in Heywood / Middleton / Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Driving a curtain side vehicle, you will make 2/3 deliveries per day to locations throughout the UK. There is no handball as all product is palletised and will be taken off the wagon by ForkLift Truck.
Successful candidates will be required to complete all necessary paperwork at delivery points and may also be required to use a pad to get delivery notes signed. Good communication skills are essential in order to stay in contact with the clients' Transport office. Drivers will be required to report any possible delays or pending issues to the Transport Manager. Start times will vary from 05:00 am to 07:00 am. You will be paid £17.50 per hour (PAYE).
