Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator for our client based in Winsford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Fabricator to join a well-established business, with an immediate start available and the potential for a long-term position. To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Fabricator with a strong background in structural steelwork, heavy fabrication, and the ability to work from detailed engineering drawings. Experience within heavy engineering environments such as pressure vessels, shipbuilding, or heavy plate fabrication is highly desirable. The successful candidate must be able to: * Fabricate and assemble structural steelwork and heavy steel components * Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings * Mark out, cut, prepare, and fit steel components to specification * Carry out heavy plate fabrication and bespoke fabrication work * Work on structural steel, pressure vessels, and shipbuilding projects * Use fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and effectively * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required tolerances * Work independently and as part of a fabrication team * Maintain high quality and safety standards within the workshop Requirements: * Proven experience as a Fabricator * Strong background in structural steelwork and heavy duty fabrication * Experience with heavy plate fabrication, pressure vessels, or shipbuilding projects * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience marking out, fitting, and assembling steelwork * Excellent attention to detail and workmanship * Reliable with a positive work ethic * Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm What’s on Offer: * £16.50 - £18.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience * Immediate start available * Long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position * Stable working hours * Opportunity to join a well-established company If you are a Fabricator looking for a new challenge and feel you have the skills and experience required for this role, please click "Apply Now" and one of our consultants will be in touch.
