- Off every Friday! *About the Role* We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Appleton Thorn.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established business, working on a fixed day shift with an early finish every Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and productivity requirements.
*Key Responsibilities* * Performing production MIG welding on a variety of metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required
- Ensuring welds meet quality specifications and standards
- Carrying out visual inspections of completed work
- Working to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
*Requirements* * Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive
