Our client are looking for a highly capable stock control supervisor. You will be analysing supply chain data to ensure accurate stock levels and quality checking new products coming in from suppliers. To ensure success as a stock controller, you should possess extensive knowledge of inventory management and experience in a related industry. An accomplished stock controller will be someone whose expertise translates into optimally maintained stock levels.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing stock storage and preparation for production processes, including accurate carton labelling and warehouse storage
  • Breakdown pallets based on delivery addresses, quantity and size
  • Creation of production working sheets based on sales order and carton counts
  • Monitor minimum quantity flags to ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters
  • Accurately book heat transfers into ERP system based on PO qty. Flagging any discrepancies to line manager
  • Liaise with the production manager to ensure a steady flow of stock from bulk storage into production
  • Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure professional and tidy arrangement of stock
  • Oversee the packing list process ensuring the production team have manufactured the correct quantities based on customer requirements
  • Skills/Qualifications/Training

  • FLT license is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Experience using ERP systems specifically SAP is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work as part of a busy production team.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • knowledge & computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Strong leadership & people skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with various functional teams
  • Strong relationship building and administration skills
