Site Service Engineer required to join their Engineering team at a family run manufacturer at their Wrexham site, offering competitive salary, additional training and outstanding job security.

The role as a Facilities Engineer:

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across site services and facilities
  • Manage and control contractors, including Permit to Work systems
  • Maintain and optimise non-productive assets using CMMS (Maintenance Connect)
  • Coordinate PPM activities to minimise production impact
  • Support utility performance analysis and identify energy reduction opportunities
  • Drive improvements in contractor control, housekeeping and GMP standards
  • Ensure all engineering systems are audit-ready at all times
  • Promote a strong culture of Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Animal Welfare

The successful Site Service Engineer will have:

  • Broad engineering background within manufacturing or food production
  • Strong electrical and mechanical technical skills (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience in facilities/site services maintenance
  • Knowledge of PPM systems and CMMS software
  • Understanding of HVAC, utilities, electrical and mechanical services
  • Time-served multi-skilled apprenticeship
  • Experience using site infrastructure/utility data to drive improvements
