We currently require a number of Vehicle Fitters on behalf of our client based near Stafford. You will be provided with a full training programme that offers support with using hand / power tools, but previous experience would be desirable.
Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Mon – Thurs, 08:00 – 14:00 Friday.
Duties:
- Operate production equipment to assemble products according to specifications
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Handle materials and supplies needed for production, including inventory management
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and welding
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- You MUST be comfortable using hand and power tools
- Be able to read drawings and diagrams
- Have own transport due to location
These roles are long term but could lead to permanent placements for the right candidates. Immediate starts available. £12.21 per hour for 40 hours, overtime paid at premiums. This overtime is readily available and paid at premiums both during the week and at weekends.
