Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer for our client based in Telford. You will be required to solve complex engineering challenges centred around automated systems and equipment.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in the following:
- PLC Programming – Allan Bradley / Siemens S7
- Set-up of system communications, set-up of drives: AC/DC, and inverters
- Knowledge of control of flow, level, pressure, temperature and humidity
- Perform testing & validation of hardware/software systems
- Conduct customer training
- Development of Robot and PLC software
- Remote customer support – fault finding and diagnostics
- Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety Issues in the workplace.
Ideally, you will be qualified to B.Eng / M.Eng in Electrical, electronics or mechatronics. We would also be able to consider BTEC if this is coupled with significant controls / automation experience.
As part of this role, there must be a willingness to work throughout the UK and overseas if required. This is a permanent role with an immediate start available. Salary bracket is £42,000 – £47,000 per annum. To achieve the higher salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competence across the majority of the duties outlined in this specification.
