We are currently working with a number of well-established engineering and manufacturing companies who are looking to recruit CNC Machinists of all levels, including Operators, Setters, and Programmers, across a variety of roles and locations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in CNC Milling, CNC Turning, or Manual Lathes who are looking to further their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operating, setting, and/or programming CNC machinery
- Working with CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, or Manual Lathes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
- Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
- Working to production targets and quality standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a machining or manufacturing environment
- Experience in either CNC Milling, CNC Turning, or Manual Machining
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges
- Strong work ethic and reliable attitude
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Mazatrol controls
- CNC programming experience advantageous
- Apprentice trained or engineering qualification preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
