We are seeking a proactive, organised, and customer-focused Sales & Estimating Coordinator to join our client’s fast-paced sales office. This position is perfect for someone with experience in engineering or manufacturing who enjoys working closely with customers, producing accurate quotations, and supporting internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient order process.

In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and managing enquiries from the initial quotation stage through to order completion. You’ll act as a vital link between customers, production, and other internal departments to help ensure all requirements are met accurately and on time.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Hours:

  • Monday –Thursday: 08:30–17:00
  • Friday: 08:30–16:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming sales enquiries by phone and email
  • Monitoring and responding promptly to customer emails
  • Preparing quotations based on customer requirements
  • Processing sales orders and generating works order packages
  • Raising purchase orders for stock items
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and communication
  • Building and developing strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Liaising effectively with manufacturing, warehouse, and accounts teams

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Maths and English skills
  • Background in engineering or manufacturing
  • Confident computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in estimating and/or sales
  • Confident, friendly communication skills (telephone & email)
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fast-paced office
  • Strong team player with good cross‑department communication

Desirable:

  • Experience using SAGE 200
  • Knowledge of flange or pipework products
