Permanent Role* Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for our client based in Lichfield for an experienced QA technician. You will be requierd to carry out inspections, maintain internal and industrial quality standards, support investigations and work closely with the production team. Responsibilities include: * Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections * Read and interpret engineering drawings * Perform dimensional inspections * Use verniers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools. * Raise and support non-conformance * Assist with internal quality audits * Liaise with production, engineering and management regarding quality issues and topics. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment. To be considered for the role, you must: * Have previous experience in a QA role in a manufacturing environment. * Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings * Use inspection and measuring tools * Work independently * Have experience within fabrication, welding, machining or precision engineering environments. * Knowledge of CMM equipment is desirable.
