We are looking for a Production Worker to join our client’s friendly team and participate in their warehouse operations and assist with production responsibilities. Production Worker responsibilities include producing stock, storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

What’s in it for you?
  • Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year – DOE
  • Monday to Friday – 8 hour shifts
  • Yearly bonus

Summary of role:

  • Labelling and packing chemicals to a high standard to meet the required needs of the daily targets and stock requirements
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain preventively, warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Assist with analysing production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example changes to procedures, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance
  • Use of IT stock system and labelling software

Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a Production/Warehouse Worker
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Must be able to carry out physically demanding tasks
  • Current forklift licence and driving licence is essential
  • 5 GCSE A-C or equivalent
