Proactive Personnel is recruiting for a Planning Administrator for our client bases in Holmewood.
You will effectively support the planning team by ensuring that all relevant customer requests / orders and queries are acknowledged in a timely manner and all relevant information is accurately captured and recorded and dealt with as necessary and entered on the companies’ planning schedules
Duties:
- To form a close working relationship with the planning team & transport team
- To monitor and accurately record all email traffic coming in to the business and that all relevant information is captured and recorded in the correct location on the system
- Ensure any paperwork sent by customers is made available to the operations team
- Assist with all Customer Queries and provide information to all relevant parties
- Liaise with the day-to-day operations team to ensure accurate communication of key details
- Booking in & out of deliveries/collections on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure all jobs/movements on the system are planned and allocated to the available driver workforce
- Assist the planner if required in liaising with drivers E.G Communicate required tasks etc
Requirements:
- It is essential to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Candidate must be punctual, organised & hardworking
- This position requires the person to have a high level of flexibility, commitment and motivation and be able to use own initiative. They will also need to be assertive with an outgoing nature, meeting customer expectations and requirements.
- Must have strong organizational & problem-solving skills & ability to multitask paying attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in temperature-controlled supply chain industry is beneficial but not essential
- Ideal candidate needs to have a good geographical knowledge base understanding time management
- Understanding of drivers working/driving rules & regulations will be beneficial
