Proactive Personnel are helping one of our large clients for additional Paint Preppers on site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Steel units to be sprayed.
- Key, Clean and seal Process, Must seal neatly to a high standard.
- Priming and Other Painting using Rollers to be completed to a high standard.
- Filler Work.
- Polishing.
- Masking Up.
- Colour Matching.
- Paint Mixing to ensure a perfect match in order to spray.
- Quality Control/Inspection check on completion ensuring there are no defects.
- Using the correct equipment and tooling as required.
- Ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.
- Report to team leader regarding updates on progress along with any issues that may arise.
- Fill in timesheets correctly and clearly and hand to team leader each week.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Adhering to production schedules.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment and surface preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or sanders is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling large or bulky items.
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks.
