Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of our client based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Salary: £26K - £33K DOE
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5pm & Fri 8:30am-3:00pm.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with preparation of weekly/fortnightly/4 weekly/monthly/annual payrolls ready for Manager review
- Assisting with uploading Pension Contribution files to Pension Provider
- Knowledge of HMRC Real Time Information reporting deadlines
- Setting up PAYE Schemes with HMRC
- Assisting with year-end processes
- Ensure department control file is updated
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its features
- Ability to work to stringent deadlines with accuracy
- Good communication skills
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in Payroll.
- Experience working in an accountancy practice (preferred)
- Organised.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
