Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
  • Provide support and cover across shifts when required during holiday periods or business needs.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A recognised engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
  • 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, food production, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similar production environment.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
