Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead an electrical sub-assembly team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong electrical background to oversee production activities, drive team performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role: Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electrical panel wirers and fitters, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and motivate a team of electrical assembly technicians, panel builders, and fitters.
  • Take ownership of allocated projects from planning through to successful completion.
  • Ensure all testing and inspection procedures are completed accurately and documented before products are released for final assembly.
  • Organise and prioritise daily workloads to meet project milestones and production schedules.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Manufacturing Manager on project status and team performance.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes.
