Proactive Personnel are helping one of our large clients for additional Paint Preppers on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Steel units to be sprayed.
  • Key, Clean and seal Process, Must seal neatly to a high standard.
  • Priming and Other Painting using Rollers to be completed to a high standard.
  • Filler Work.
  • Polishing.
  • Masking Up.
  • Colour Matching.
  • Paint Mixing to ensure a perfect match in order to spray.
  • Quality Control/Inspection check on completion ensuring there are no defects.
  • Using the correct equipment and tooling as required.
  • Ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times.
  • Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.
  • Report to team leader regarding updates on progress along with any issues that may arise.
  • Fill in timesheets correctly and clearly and hand to team leader each week.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.

Skills:

  • Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment and surface preparation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes.
  • Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or sanders is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling large or bulky items.
  • Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

You will be initially working afternoon shifts (14:00 - 22:00).
