Proactive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice in Llandudno, who are looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant with at least 2-3 years’ experience within a practice environment.

Salary: £25,000 per annum DOE

Hours: Mon-Fri | 9am – 5pm – Office based

Your duties will include; but not limited to:

  • Producing financial accounts for a wide range of businesses including limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, charities, etc
  • Preparing VAT returns, corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns
  • Providing a management accounts service to clients including KPI reviews
  • Liaising with clients on a range of queries
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Opportunity to work on audits, as part of an audit team

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience gained within an accountancy practice
  • Fully qualified AAT or qualified by experience
  • Understand the importance of providing outstanding levels of customer service and willing to go above and beyond to deliver
  • Strong team player whilst able to work autonomously
  • IT literate with working knowledge of practice computerised accounting systems, cloud, and desktop bookkeeping such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft
