About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Appleton Thorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where full training will be provided on manufacturing machinery and production processes. Whether you already have experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environment, or you’re looking to start a career in manufacturing and have a genuine interest in learning new skills, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery following training
- Assisting with production and assembly processes
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider production team as required
- Reporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation is advantageous but not essential
- Candidates with no direct experience will be considered if they have a genuine interest in manufacturing and are eager to learn
- Good attention to detail and a positive work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive
