Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a Production Operative with a Forklift Licence to start work for our client based in Haslingden, Lancashire.

Duties include:

  • Carry out production and assembly tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Operate machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Complete assigned production tasks to meet daily production schedules and targets. Maintain accurate production records where required.
  • Ensure products meet company quality standards and follow all quality system requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 6S standards.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe practices.
  • Work flexibly across different production areas when required.
  • Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
  • Experience using hand tools or small machinery is beneficial.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable heavy lifting and manual handling.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Pay is starting at £14.70 an hour which would increase after 6 months of employment. Hours are based on a rotating shift pattern, both day shift 07:00-19:00 and night shift 19:00-07:00.
