Proactive Personnel Ltd are looking to hire X2 Goods In operatives to join our clients busy team based in Fenton. You must have experience within a similar role and be a reliable individual. Reliability is a key attribute for our client to make sure the operation runs smoothly.
Hours & Pay:
- 7am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday with 30minute unpaid lunch break per day
- £12.25ph
Duties
- Operate the warehouse management system to track delivery’s coming in
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse
- Unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are handled safely
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during all physical tasks
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required, adhering to all operational guidelines
- Picking products from various locations
- This role is based inside and outside of the warehouse
Requirements
- Previous experience in a goods in role
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting
- Valid forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory
