Proactive Personnel Blackburn are currently looking for a FLT Reach and Counterbalance Driver to start work for our client based in Haslingden, Rossendale.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.
Skills:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently.
- Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:15-18:00 and Friday 08:15-16:00. Pay is £13.65 an hour. Temporary-permanent placements for the right candidate.
