Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am 2:30pm

Future Shift: Once fully trained, the role will move onto nights: 10:00pm 8:00am, 4-on/4-off shift pattern

Pay: Weekly

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Water Jet / Flame Cutting Machine Operator to join an established engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous flame cutting machine operating experience who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating water jet and/or flame cutting machinery
  • Loading and unloading materials safely
  • Setting and operating machinery in accordance with production requirements
  • Working from job specifications and engineering information
  • Ensuring finished components meet the required standards
  • Carrying out basic quality checks
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all company health and safety regulations

Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Flame cutting, Oxy propane or profile burner is required.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Industrial machine operation.
