We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our clients team.
This is a hands‑on, multi‑skilled position involving both electrical and mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Days
- Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance on a range of plant equipment including
- Conveyors
- Electronic Control Panels
- Motors, Gearboxes & Bearings
- Vibratory Screeners & Feeders
- Air Density & Eddy Current Separators
- Drying Equipment
- Feed Hoppers
- Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment
- Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
- Carry out welding (stick and MIG) and fabrication work to a high standard.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production and efficiency targets.
Requirements / Person Specification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant fitting and maintenance within an industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Multi‑skilled background – both Electrical & Mechanical knowledge essential.
- High standard of design and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabricate accordingly.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working autonomously.
- Willingness to be trained in Telehandler and MEWP operation.
- Must provide own small/general-purpose tools (secure storage provided for personal items).
