Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across manufacturing and processing equipment.
Support machinery installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within a food production environment.
Participate in occasional call-outs and overtime when required.
Requirements Current 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (essential).
Previous experience in an FMCG, food production, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
Desirable Skills Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
PLC fault-finding experience.
FLT licence.
Welding or fabrication experience.
Multi-skilled maintenance experience.
Package Company-provided tools.
Ongoing training and development.
