We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site electrical engineering support, ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical expertise in a challenging environment, working closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency. Must have experience installing and commissioning EV chargers.
Salary: Up to 50,000 + Company Van + Benefits + Overtime Opportunities. Permanent position (no contracting). This role is field based working across the UK and may require the very occasional overnight stay (digs provided).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise system performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, providing exceptional customer service throughout project execution.
- Document technical procedures, system modifications, and test results accurately.
- Assist in training clients' personnel on electrical systems operation and maintenance.
