We are currently recruiting for Aerospace Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality components for the aerospace industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery and equipment.
- Working within a hot foundry environment handling metal castings.
- Loading and unloading components safely.
- Finishing, fettling and inspecting castings to required quality standards.
- Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any defects.
- Following detailed work instructions and production schedules.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous manufacturing, foundry or production experience is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hot working environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and undertake training where required.
