HGV Technician Role:
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for servicing everything properly and on time.
- Check everything visually, adjust as needed, change fluids, and replace worn-out parts like brake linings.
- Keep an eye out for any unusual wear or problems and let the customer know if anything extra needs to be done.
- Reset the maintenance system when needed.
- Clean and take care of the customer’s vehicle.
- Do repair work, including simple fixes like replacing mufflers or mirrors.
- Do more complex repairs with the help of technicians, like replacing major parts or suspension struts.
- Install and set up accessories and removable parts.
HGV Technician Role Requirements:
- Previous experience working on HGV Trucks (5 years)
- Fully Qualified HGV Technician (City and Guilds or NVQ)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Own tools
- HGV License (Desirable)
