The RoleAs a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator, you will be the critical link between customers, warehouse operations, and transport teams. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that customer expectations are met with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency, while maintaining smooth operational processes behind the scenes.
Acting as the main point of contact for customers, handling day-to-day enquiries via phone and email in a prompt and professional manner
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key accounts, with a deep understanding of their logistics and warehousing needs
Supporting the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that transport and delivery instructions are clearly documented and followed
Accurately inputting and updating operational and customer data using internal systems
Liaising with internal departments including Sales, Warehouse, and Transport to deliver a seamless customer experience
Managing delivery schedules, booking collections, providing PODs, and advising on lead times
Raising sales invoices and resolving queries within 24 hours
Logging and managing purchase orders, ordering consumables, and coordinating with suppliers
Producing customer KPI reports and assisting in corrective action planning where needed
Supporting stock checks and general administrative functions across the department
What We\βre Looking ForThis role requires someone with a strong background in customer service within a logistics, transport, or warehousing environment. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, and collaborative, with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
Essential
Proven experience in a logistics, warehousing or transport customer service environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Organised, methodical and solutions-focused
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade A-C)
Proactive attitude and strong teamwork ethic
Desirable
Working knowledge of logistics or warehouse management systems
Understanding of transport documentation and shipping procedures
Working Hours & Benefits
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Alternating shifts: 08:30-17:00
Flexibility during busy months (October-November, 08:00-19:00)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Holiday: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
