Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Fabricator / TIG Welder for our client based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join a well-established business on a temporary to permanent basis, with an immediate start available.
To be considered for this role, you must be a time-served Fabricator/Welder with strong TIG welding experience and a background in bespoke fabrication work. The successful candidate must be able to:
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding
- Fabricate bespoke products from detailed engineering drawings
- TIG Welding pipework, frame work & tank work
- General structural fabrication also
- Correctly and safely operate workshop machinery including: Guillotine, Press Brake, Metal Worker & Pillar Drill
- Work independently and to tight tolerances
- Maintain high quality and safety standards within the workshop
Requirements:
- Must have proven TIG Welding experience
- Must have proven Fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Experience within bespoke fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable with a positive work ethic
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Saturday (overtime)
Pay:
- £17
- Overtime is x1.5
- Site work is paid overtime
