Experienced or aspiring Team Leader required for maintenance at a family-run manufacturer at their Wrexham site, offering competitive salary, additional training and outstanding job security. You will be joining a diverse team of engineers from various sectors and become a valued member of the engineering team.
The Role
- Day to day lead and point of contact for all maintenance issues on behalf of the Engineering Manager
- Hands-on approach to ensure maximum efficiency during shift
- Technical leadership, advice and support for all engineering levels on site
The Candidate
Essential:
- Industry recognised engineering qualification
- Experience within electrical or multiskilled electrical bias
- Proven track record of achieving improvements
- Strong influencing skills
- Be able to fault find in both electrical and mechanical
- Ability to diagnose circuit drawings
- Ability to drive continuous improvement performance whilst leading others
- Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise with varying stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
- Self-motivated and a good team player
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to make quick and accurate decisions
- Be flexible in approach to shift cover and over busy trading periods
Desirable:
- Previous experience of supervising / managing a team in a FMCG environment
- Knowledge of CMMs
- Effluent treatment plants
- Legal Compliance
