Sheet Metal Worker in Castle Donington

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker for our client based out of Castle Donington. Responsibilities * Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. * Utilise sheet metal techniques to cut, grind, weld, and shape materials as required. * Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to ensure precision in work output. * Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Qualifications & Experience * Proven experience in metalworking * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to metal fabrication. * Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work – City & Guilds Certification * Advanced Certificate in Fabrication Studies or Level 3 Qualified in Welding & Fabrication 07:00 – 15:30 Monday – Thursday, 12:00 Friday. Will move over to 2 rotating shifts below once passed probation. – Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm – Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
