We are recruiting for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join a busy and supportive team. The role involves handling inbound and outbound customer calls, supporting the wider sales function, and identifying opportunities to up-sell where appropriate. Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and manage outbound call schedules in line with team targets
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team
  • Build rapport and maintain effective, professional relationships with customers
  • Discuss customer orders, delivery schedules, and handle queries during busy seasonal periods
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities during customer interactions
  • Accurately log and update customer information within the CRM system
  • Ensure all call handling and data management complies with GDPR regulations

Experience & Skills Required

  • Previous customer service and call handling experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Confidence identifying and discussing up-selling opportunities
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage workload effectively
  • Resilient with a strong work ethic and proactive approach

Training & Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths desirable but not essential
  • Full training provided
  • CRM system experience beneficial but not essential

Working Pattern & Flexibility

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
  • Occasional flexibility required during peak periods
  • Holiday restrictions apply during busy seasonal months
