Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Store Person role for one of our manufacturing and production clients in the Burton on Trent area. As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for:
- Accurate and efficient management of the stores
- Ensuring goods are received and stored accurately
- Conduct stock control / stock checks
- Receiving and dispatching goods in a timely manner
- Moving stock between two sites in Burton on Trent
- Driving a flat bed truck when needed
The successful candidate will have knowledge of stock control systems and the ability to operate a range of equipment, including hand pallet trucks and forklift trucks. Additionally, you will need to be proactive in organising and re-organising the stores area to ensure suitable access and efficient storage.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE
- A minimum of two years' experience in a stores environment
- SAP Experience
- Worked in Engineering/Manufacturing Stores role previously
- Counterbalance FLT Licence needed
- Overhead Crane licence preferred
- Proven ability to manage stock control systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to operate a range of equipment
- Proven experience of reorganising stores areas
This is a full-time position offering a competitive rate of £13.08 per hour.
