We are currently looking for a Production & Assembly Operative to join a busy production team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical and/or electrical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly of products/components.
- Use a range of hand and basic power tools.
- Follow assembly instructions, drawings and processes.
- Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Work as part of a wider production team to meet deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production, assembly, manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
- Basic electrical/electronic knowledge would be advantageous.
- Comfortable using hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
- Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work.
Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm.
