Proactive Personnel Blackburn are currently looking for FLT Reach and Counterbalance Drivers to start work in Blackburn.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.
Skills:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Both Valid CB & Reach licences, cannot accept in-house certificates.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently.
- Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 06:00am-14:00pm/ 13:00pm-21:00pm. This role is looking to start on Thursday 28th May. Please be aware this is a temporary position with no guarantee of a permanent placement.
