Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our client based in the Wolverhampton area. This is a precision engineering business who work in the aerospace and energy sectors (amongst others) so experience in a similar industry is required. A HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is desirable for this role.
The main purpose of this role is to provide end-to-end support from initial design and modelling through planning and programming product for the shop floor, ensuring components are delivered on time and on budget by creating efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- CNC offline programming for milling and turning
- Supporting production with daily problem solving
- Continuous improvement
- Ensuring quality and associated records are maintained
- Planning and designing manufacturing process from start to finish
- Accurate stage drawings, SOP's and similar
- Support quotation processes
- Support with NPI projects
- Assist and direct projects including CAD/CAM programs to ensure first time quality and production readiness
This is a permanent role and you can expect to earn between £50,000 - £60,000. To earn the higher end of this salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job role. 39 hours per week. 08:00 - 17:00, early Friday finish.
